Super Hero Cards

 I loved using this paper to show that you can think outside the paper packet.  The paper would seem to be male oreinted.  But there is really only the one sheet that is so "manly." And it had a second side that I really liked.  I used the July Stamp of the Month on two of the cards.  I have just orderd my new cricut cartridge along with some other new "toys."  I will post a date for a new idea book open house after hearing from people about good dates and times.  So please let me know what works for you.  There will be a make and take for you to do as well.  See you real soon!



News You Can Use!

There are two campaigns going on for the rest of the month.  We have the Stamp of the Month as seen in the first picture and we have the perfect pairs still going on.

Starting August first and until they last, anyone signing on as a consultant, will receive the damask backpack. Only the consultants who went to the convention and the consultants who sign on during Augst will receve this bag. And at no additional cost.  So if you were thinking of signing on, now is the time to do it.  I love the bag.  Too bad I can't sign on now.

I have peeked at the new idea book online....LOVE it!!!!!  I can't wait to share it and the new products with my scrapping, cardmaking friends.  I will announce an open house date real soon.

 

Cardmaking with Superhero Paper Packet

What a crazy week it has been. Did you all survive the storm a week ago? I hope that you had you power back real soon, that you suffered little if any property damage and that you didn't lose too much food. As for me and my family....we are all well.  Our family helped each other out and so did our friends.

We will be making cards on Saturday of next weekend. July 14, 2012 at  2 PM. I placed my order this morning and as always, ordered an extra paper packet.  It is not too late to come!  Give it some thought.

Cardmaking With Stella

Had a great time withe the ladies last night. Jessica used it as oppurtunity to get some scrap book pages done.  The others made some wonderful cards.  I will post pictures of the cards that I made later today.  Thank you for coming Margaret, Sarah, Paula and Jessica.  The date for July will be set real soon.

Card Making Sunday

I am a little late in making this post.  Last Sunday was an afternoon of card making at my house.  How great is that?  I was able to share my love of card making with grand kids first.  They came over right after church to make their Mother's Day cards.  Not long after they left, the ladies came to make cards.  I had two sets of mother/daughters.  That was pretty neat.

I had friend over this afternoon.  It was her first time with Close To My Heart.  I think that she is hooked.  She is ready to do some scrap booking!

I am putting together a card making event for June.  It will most likely be the second weekend in June on either Friday or Saturday night.  Hope to see you then.

Card Making with Pemberly

My creative juices were flowing this afternoon and evening.  I am very excited about having a group over on Sunday to share my love of cardmaking with.  Three of the cards were inspired by projects in the Spring 2012 Idea Book.  The fourth card was inspired by the paper itself.  It's not to late for you to come on Sunday.  I would love to have you as well as the women that have already said that they are coming.

First Post , About Pemberly Card Making

My first blog post.  How exciting.  I went to a Close To My Heart Leader Share event with my upline, Jennifer Cox and another of her downline ladies.  It was a very long, but fun filled day.  I came home re-enthused. Changes have been made.  I added a picture to my web page, signed up so that all of my customers will receive the monthly CTMH newsletter and .....started my blog.  I have a card making event coming up on May 6, at 2 PM.  We will be using the Pemberly paper kit as seen in the picture.  There will be embellishments to use as well.  I am very excited about this event because there will be several new people with us that afternoon.  I always love sharing my love for card making and scrap booking with others.  Check out my website, especially the While Supplies last list.  There are always great buys there.  My web site is www.ctmh.com/carolann.
